The date is perfect for discriminating shoppers to SHOP FOR A CAUSE as they choose from a never seen before items of Christmas goodies from over 50 concessionaires at very low prices. Not to be left behind, FOODIES can have a food trip with the whole family as they choose from over 8 top restaurants and food establishments in the city. Exciting Kiddie carnival games with exciting prizes like Kiddie watches and various entertainments have been lined up at our entertainment area for non-stop CHRISTMAS FUN while shopping! Fun competition like the 6th PET FASHION SHOW, the 1st Canine Agility Trials featuring trained dogs from Davao, General Santos and Zamboanga City, plus Mascots and Street Magicians from Manila will make appearances to thrill kids and adults up close and personal. This Christmas share your blessings while shopping and having fun as proceeds from the one day event will go to the 2006 Charity Fund of the Foundation that will save lives and benefit the indigents in Zamboanga City. Tzu Chi Foundation Zamboanga Liaison Office has provided timely aid to thousands of indigent Zamboanguenos during their many Medical/Dental/Sight saving/Surgical Outreach Mission in far flung barangay and neighboring cities and provinces. Tzu Chi have sponsored over 76 VP Shunting operations for Hydrocephalus, Encephalocoele and Meningocoele medical conditions; restored eye sights of over one thousand six hundred cataract patients and distributed over 3,000 free prescription eyeglasses with the help of Zamboanga City Medical Center - Department of Ophthalmology and USNS MERCY. Aside from all these, with help from resident doctors of ZCMC Dept of Pediatrics, lives of innocent children have been saved through the timely donation of expensive medicines. Different institutions that have been touched by Tzu Chi Zamboanga are the Lingap Center in San Roque, The Center for the Abandoned Elderly in Talon-Talon, the RSCC in Talon Talon and the Pasobolong Leprosarium among others.
