MEDICAL/DENTAL and SURGICAL OUTREACH MISSIONS

Always trying its best to respond to the needs of the indigent community, Tzu Chi have organized FREE MEDICAL/DENTAL/SIGHTSAVING MISSIONS in far flung barangays in Zamboanga City should a need arise. Tzu Chi also sponsors major and minor surgical mission covering HERNIA REPAIR, GOITER EXCISION, HYDROCOELE CORRECTION, VARICOCOELE, BREAST MASS EXCISION, SUPERFICIAL CYST EXCISION, LEG AMPUTATION, HEMORRHOID REPAIR, IMPERFORATED ANUS CORRECTION, RETINABLASTOMA among other "day" surgeries. Now equipped with its own Medical Transport Van loaded with OR equipments,surgical instruments and medical supplies; together with medical volunteers from Tzu Chi International Medical Association (TIMA) Zamboanga chapter, it has spread its seeds of great love and restored hope to indigents in different areas in Mindanao.
